The El Paso Community Foundation and El Paso Live regret to announce the cancellation of this summer’s production of Viva! El Paso in the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre.
Safety concerns and insufficient time to prepare the production due to the coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation of the 43rd season of the annual historical musical, which was scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays, June 19 through July 24 in the outdoor theater.
Auditions were scheduled for March 26-28 but were postponed indefinitely due to emergency guidelines. Rehearsals were to begin in April, but also were postponed indefinitely.
